Only the Red Faction and Darius can Ransome mankind. 5 years later, Darius Mason the grandson of the Martian Revolution and the heroes Samanya and Alec Mason, runs an economic business from Bastion, an underground base of Colonist activity. To ride out, the Colonists dematerialize to underground mines and build a net of livable caves. When the ponderous Terraformer that provides Mars with air and weather is contaminated, the entire atmosphere turns anarchy lightning storms and super-tornados engulf the whole planet.
